About Dr. Carolin Gardner, LMFT, LPCC
With a deep passion for supporting individuals through some of life’s most difficult challenges, I specialize in working with both teenagers and adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health struggles. My approach is built on the foundational belief that healing happens through a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, where individuals feel understood and supported in a safe space.
How I Work
I prioritize creating an environment where you feel heard, seen, and valued. We’ll work together to identify your unique needs, understand the root causes of your struggles, and explore ways to work through them in a meaningful and lasting way. I approach therapy with the understanding that each person’s story is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. My therapeutic style is creative and integrative, blending the best of evidence-based techniques with a deep respect for the individuality of each client. I believe that the science of therapy is most effective when combined with a holistic, human-centered approach that honors your personal experiences and strengths.
Why I Do This Work
What drives my work is my personal journey of healing. Having faced my own challenges, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate mental health struggles. I finally found deep and lasting healing with ketamine-assisted brainspotting. Seeing clients heal and find peace is what continues to drive me in my passion for healing. Not cover symptoms but truly heal from memories and emotions that continue to keep people stuck in fight/flight mode. My personal and professional experience gives me a unique perspective and deep empathy for my clients.
Whether you’re seeking to resolve past trauma, better manage your anxiety or depression, or simply looking for guidance in a difficult moment, I am here to help.
“ I love and see myself for the beautiful human I am for the first time in my life. Before this therapy, I was just trying to survive and it was a really painful existence. Now, I am living and I feel joy and I can give and receive love and I can be compassionate to others.”
