Description:This introductory training provides an overview of how pairing ketamine with brainspotting impacts clinical outcomes. Participants will gain an understanding of the different ways ketamine is used in psychotherapy and the benefits of each approach. This course will emphasize how ketamine’s mechanism of action compliments brainspotting principles. Through a combination of theoretical insights, case examples, and tested strategies, participants will gain a general understanding of how ketamine-assisted psychotherapy facilitates healing of mental health conditions, including treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder.

Trainer Bio:
Nicolette Bautista, PsyD, MBA
Nicolette Bautista is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Brainspotter, Brainspotting Consultant, and Certified Organizational Coach. Nicolette has thirty years of professional experience as a clinician, consultant, clinical supervisor, and nonprofit executive. She has directed two statewide domestic violence agencies and conducted hundreds of psychological evaluations for the juvenile justice courts and Kaiser Permanente, therapy for UC Davis Faculty EAP, and private practice settings. Nicolette has received extensive training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and after a year of beta-testing ketamine with brainspotting, she opened KAP Wellness, a clinic dedicated to the provision of ketamine-assisted psychotherapies. In partnership with board-certified anesthesiologists and psychiatrists, Nicolette has provided 800+ ketamine-assisted sessions to individuals and couples ages 17-75. Nicolette is active in the psychedelic sciences field and a member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners.
